Title: Colligative Properties

Hi, so we did an online experiment about boiling point elevation in where we added sugar to water. We computed for the molar mass using the formula ΔT = mK to get the molality and then we got the moles from molality and then solved for the Molar mass. but when we computed for the actual molar mass, the result of the percentage error is around 93 %. The theoretical molar mass of sugar is around 342g/mol however the one that we computed is around 22g/mol. I don't think that we've made mistakes in inputting and computing for the answers. Is there any reason why our %error is so high? or is there something in the experiment that lowers molar mass? or is the data given by our professors flawed?

Without knowing what you did, what numbers you got, how you calculated your answer, or what data your professors gave you, it is impossible to answer you. Please give a full account.
