Title: Looking for simple answers about the Langevin equation for reactions in space.

Hello I'm hoping you can explain some of the concepts of the Langevin equation, basically, as I'm an undergraduate who just learned the Arrhenius equation. The Langevin equation is said to describe some of the ion-molecule reactions that take place in space, better than the Arrhenius equation.

What is it that makes these reactions occur at low temperatures or have a negative temperature dependence, etc.
