Title: Conductive nylon

Hi, im a physics student particulary in the field of materials. I've synthesized nylon 6,6 with hexametilendiamine and adipolium chloride and ive synthesized silver nanoparticles. My teacher wants us to mix silver nano particles and nylon 6,6 to get a conductive nylon 6,6 film but i think i don't know enough chemistry to do it so, how could i do it? should i try with another polymeric material?

A broader question is what makes you think this would necessarily be conductive, but beyond that: your basic options are melt or solvent casting. Each will have its challenges and the choice will be guided by what kind of equipment you have at your disposal, what kind of polymer morphology you want (free-standing, coated on a substrate, etc.), and so on. You will certainly need silver nanoparticles that are compatible with the polymer - think of your polymer as a solvent, so the nanoparticles will need be capped with something that can integrate them into a matrix of that polarity.

I suggest looking at the robust polymer nanocomposite literature.
