Title: Impure 96% H2SO4 for synthesis
Post by: lukas.stib on May 07, 2021, 03:34:06 AM
Hello chemists,

can I use concentrated sulfuric acid 96% but impure in the Stura Facile cleaner for common chemical syntheses?
I really don't want to distill H2SO4!

Thank you. Lukáš S.

For synthesis I wouldnt use it,because you dont know how the cleaner will react.
Destillation is very dangerous, dont do it if you have no expierence and probably the right equipment.
It is cheaper to buy H2SO4 for synthesis.
