Title: Calculating the mass of KOH needed to raise the pH(of H2O) to 11.5

Hi.

I've got a problem to solve. Please, can anyone help?
It's the following: How many grams of KOH must be dissolved in 10 L of water to raise its pH to 11.5?

1. Calculate concentration of OH- in solution with pH = 11,5.
2. Calculate mass concentration (g KOH / liter of solution).
3. For 10 liters of water, quantity of KOH is 10 times bigger.
