Title: Naphthalene brightener help

Hi,

I'm trying to improve my nickel plating solution and was watching this video https://youtu.be/QjfNrZigqL0?t=727, which had a great result.  If you watch from 12min:10sec, he adds Thiourea and one other compound that sounded like disulfa naphthalene? I broke down his recipe except for the last ingredient.

Does anyone know what exact chemical he is adding?  He never responded on his comments (I asked).  I looked and there seems to be different types of naphthalene, so could use some assistance.

Nickel Plating Solution (Makes 250ml)
250ml Water
50g Nickel Sulfate
5g Boric Acid
2g Sodium Chloride (Table salt)
1/100g Thiourea (brightener)
1/10g ?
naphthalene

He said what sounded like "disulfa naphthalene acid", in an obviously foreign accent. Possibly he meant naphthalene-1,5-disulfonic acid (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armstrong's_acid), but don't take my word for it. Wikipedia describes it as fluorescent, so may be a brightener.
