Title: Chemical equation for the electrolysis of NaAl(OH)4
Post by: Vannox99 on May 27, 2021, 02:16:17 AM
Hello to all! This is my question:

If I have the following substance:  NaAl(OH)4  (hydrated NaAlO2) to which an electrolysis process will be applied, What will be the resulting compounds from this process?

Thanks!

Please read the forum rules (https://www.chemicalforums.com/index.php?topic=65859.0). You have to show your attempts at answering the question/solving the problem to receive help, it is a forum policy.

You have to start by comparing potentials of redox reactions of all substances present in the solution (including water).
