Title: Electrochemistry
Post by: bradenator on June 17, 2021, 09:55:12 PM
If sulfuric acid is added to a half cell would the cell potential change? I’m assuming not because sulfate is a spectator ion that is not involved in an electrochemical reaction.

sulfate is a spectator ion that is not involved in an electrochemical reaction.

Is it true true for every possible reaction?

Is the sulfate the only ion added?
