I have a bottle of mixed bed ion exchange resin from 1999, which I had not used in a long time, until I tried an exploratory experiment a few days ago. The experiment was neither a total success, nor a total failure. The beads behave as though they were charged with static electricity. The indicating beads should be blue, but they don't seem as blue as I remember them. Thoughts?
