Title: Balancing C6H14 ---> C14H26 + C22H44

How do i balance the equation C6H14 ---> C14H26 + C22H44. I need to balance this equation before i can calculate the change in enthalpy using GaussView

1. Calculate number of carbon atoms on the right side.
2. Multiply number of C₆H₁₄ to make number of carbon atoms equal.
3. Add H₂ on either left or right side.

There was no hydrogen detected from this reaction.

There is no way to balance this equation without additional compounds.
