Hi Guys,

what kind of analysis we make using by UV-VIs Spectrophotometer in water?
can we make heavy metal analysis, or more? can you give me details?

Hi!

You can analyze metals by atomic spectrometry, and the instrumentation is not the same thing than the molecular spectrometry one.
UV-Vis Spectrophotometer is very used in the Pharmaceutic Industry for analayzing APIs that includes chromophores in their structures when those are inside drugs, for example.
