Hello all,
Hope I am posting in the correct section. Can 95% purity n-Hexane be mixed with 99% purity n-Hexane without any adverse effects? Don't really care about the purity levels above 95% as it will only be used for testing process piping in a system. After the test, they will go in to a glass container and remain their until it is needed to test the next system. I have 5 liter quantities of each. I need 10 liters for a test but 95% hexane has a longer lead time and I don't have the time.
Thanks.

Only adverse effect is the cost of the mixture being higher, as the higher purity solvents always cost more. Other than that nothing wrong should happen.

Thanks Borek,
Much appreciated.
Cheers.
