Title: Working with ammonia
Post by: doomer_student on October 07, 2021, 09:43:45 AM
I'm currently working on a project that requires me to work with ammonia gas; which I'm not familiar with. From what I know so far, you can prepare ammonia by heating ammonium chloride. Now what I lacked experience is how exactly should I handle this gas to say; react it with a liquid substance. Did i simply funnel the gas to an isolated container with the liquid? If so what apparatus did I need?

It might be useful if you described what exactly you're trying to do. Why not just buy a small cylinder of compressed ammonia?
