Title: Distinguishing PbOH_2 and MgOH_2 knowing that PbOH_2 is amphoteric
Post by: physicienne_en_sueur on November 11, 2021, 07:26:45 AM
Can someone help me out with this problem?

PbOH_2 is an amphoteric hydroxide and MgOH_2 is non-amphoteric. Explain how we can use this fact to distinguish an aqueous solution of Pb(NO_3)_2 and an aqueous solution of Mg(NO_3)_2 in a lab setting.
