Title: What is the protocol for preparing nanocellulose modified with tartaric acid?

Hello everyone!

I am currently figuring out how to perform an esterification reaction between the hydroxyl groups in nanocellulose and COOH groups of the dicarboxylic acid i.e, Tartaric acid.

I have not found any protocols for tartaric acid in particular (I have come across other carboxylic acids). I would appreciate some guidance in this matter!  :)
