Title: Protein re-folding
Post by: liravsc on November 19, 2021, 08:17:22 PM
I left the following question in blank in my Celular Biochemistry exam:

"Explain in your own words why after unfolding proteins using an agent that breaks non-covalent interactions and another that breaks disulfide bonds, whether the protein can fold correctly again may depend on the order in which these agents are removed."

I'd rather not say anything than to write any gibberish. I'll just leave it here, I have no thoughts about it so... I'd rather not write my dumbness either haha.

It is a forum rule that you must provide your thoughts before we can help you.  Writing something that is incorrect may be the first step toward learning something.  Think about things that could go wrong in refolding a protein.
