Title: Valence of CaCO3?
Post by: zwick521 on October 27, 2006, 03:10:40 PM
I am trying to find the exchange capacity of a resin bed that removes CaCO3 from water.  I believe I need the valence of the CaCO3 to do this, but I cant find it anywhere.  Do molecules even have an overall valence or is that strictly limited to individual elements?  Thanks for any help.

I have never heard of any valance of a compound either.

Do you mean something like a electrostatic potential map or Van Der Waals raddi?

Hello...

Read info about resins:
