Title: Separating Sodium Perchlorate from Buffer Solution

Hello.

I have been trying to identify a way to separate NaClO4 from a buffer solution of Acetic acid, Sodium Acetate and a very dilute water/EtOH mix. unfortunately I don't know the ratios of the

I certainly do not want to go the HCl way to force all the sodium out as salt. Starting by adding NaHCO₃ to make the acid turn to sodium acetate followed by adding HCl to force all the sodium ions to make salt forming dilute perchloric acid in the presence of ethanol, which wouldn't be wise. Any advice would be great. Thanks?

Doesn't make much sense in the context. Adding HCl would just convert acetate back to acetic acid, everything will stay in the solution.

Can you think of how this could be separated?
