Title: saponification of the oil, with organic substance

Hello, im a Recently graduated chemical technician, I speak Spanish and I handle a little English so it is possible that I have errors, I write here to see if you can help me. I am trying to find an organic substance with which I can carry out the saponification reaction, specifically in used cooking oil, the only quick thing I found is a plant called saponaria that in theory would work, do you know of any organic substance that could be useful.
since every time I do a saponification I use NaOH or KOH, maybe there is some other way to do it the way I want.

Saponaria is used as detergent not for saponification. You need hydroxide for this
