Title: what are possible chemicals coming out from the newsprint / magazines?
Post by: shvcko99 on May 13, 2022, 08:28:30 AM: When we touch or rub newspaper, our fingers will be dirty, what are those chemicals?

Even though without touching it, it is easy to find some special smell from the newspaper, what are they?

With enough ventilation, could those chemicals go away on its own? Will it contaminate food if put nearby?

I'm planning to keep A LOT OF newspaper and magazines home

Well, I had to look it up but it seems a lot of Newspapers these days (they still exist?) use Soy Ink (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soy_ink). Who knew? Otherwise, the inks use a petroleum based.
