Title: Dry Block Heater for Babcock flasks?
Post by: IFLlayercake on June 03, 2022, 11:52:43 AM
We run an acid split test in my lab that involves heating babcock flasks of acid split and oil emulsion on a dry block heater in order to get the oil concentration of a sample. Does anyone else run a similar test, and could you tell me where you get your heater from? Ours isn't passing calibration and I cannot find one that will fit Babcock flasks. If theres a different method that doesn't use a dry block heater, I'd be interested in that as well! Thank you!
