Title: Synthesis of Vitamin C
Post by: Synaptic724 on June 04, 2022, 07:34:16 PM
Good Afternoon,

I was just curious if anyone knew where I could find Albert Szent-Gyorgi's original documentation for the synthesis of Vitamin C or  Ascorbic Acid from Paprika.

If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it. I've been looking everywhere with no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have a great day!

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/16745554/
I performed a search at Pubmed using his name, vitamin c, and paprika, and I found the 1934 citation.  I recommend PubMed for searching the biochemical literature.
