Title: Compressed Gas Lab Safety
Post by: Jossy Mossy on June 28, 2022, 03:08:49 AM
Hello there!

Just wondering- for safety usage of compressed gas cylinders, should the cylinder in use be individually secured? Can I use a cylinder that is secured with a group (chained against wall)? I am assuming not, but don't really see anything that explicitly says so.

Thanks

If they are capped, it is common to store several together secured by a chain. If they are uncapped (i.e., in use, with regulators attached), I would individually secure them. And they should always be transported capped.
