Hi.
There are in the market caulks that are based of MS polymer, like the hybrifix super 7.
My question is:What types of adhesive can be bonded to a cured MS polymer caulk?
I mean,if you have a piece of cured MS polymer
and you want to bond it to other object, what adhesive can be bonded effectively to the cured ms polymer(lets ignore the other object to be bonded as the issue is to find out what adhesive can be bonded to the ms polymer surface).
Thanks.

I would something use from the same family. A modified silan adhesive.

Thanks for your answer Hunter2.
What about contact cement(dissolved neoprene rubber)?
Contact cement can bond to smooth objects
like plastic and leather. Why doesn't contact cement bond effectively to a cured ms polymer?

Any thoughts,please?

Nobody has any ideas ???
Okay,thanks. :)

Hi billnotgatez.
I see that you are talking about silicone caulk,
but i was talking about ms polymer, which more materials can stick to it,compare to silicone caulk, including paint.
And my question was related to which adhesive
can bond effectively cured ms polymer to other material and why contact cement(dissolved neoprene rubber)doesn't stick well to cured ms polymer?

As an adhesive chemist,....depending on what the end goal is, I would guess an isocyanate base adhesive. Try a PUR like gorilla glue or ?? ???
