Title: A couple of newbie comments

I just registered an account here to see about help with an experiment with sugar crystals for my grandson. After I completed the registration, I was told that I would get a verification email. Usually, these come immediately. After 10 minutes or so, I wondered if the problem was on my end. I have had problems with that email account in the past. I wanted to ask for a second email verification to be sent, but there are no links for that or anything else, including contacting the administrators. Most boards that I have used have a button to request a second verification email. I think that would be helpful here.
