Hello, i am an illusionist, and i am interested in creating a simple clock reaction for my show.
What are 2 transparent liquids (transparent as water), that poured together, turns color into a red-wine color? (dark purple, not black)
The liquid must change color, automatically, after 60 seconds they are mixed.
What are those 2 transparent liquids that i should use?
The liquids should be carriable in normal plastic water bottles

Yes, i have searched Google and Youtube, and it's explained how to make the clock reaction by turning transparent to orange, then orange to black.
There is also a version how to turn transparent to black.
Then there is another version, with indicator, to turn instantly into pink (without delay).
They all do not fit my needs.
What specifically i need, is to turn transparent to red-wine-color, and do it after x seconds.
I can use only 2 plastic bottles (with transparent liquids inside), and those bottles will be mixed. What should be in those 2 plastic bottles, to obtain this effect?
For the delay, i think it's just to add water to one of the bottles, correct?

You are not getting any answers because there are no obvious candidates for what you need. It is not like "anything you imagine can be done". There are systems that do have some of the properties you are looking for, but they are not necessarily easy to combine.

It's possible to delay the indicator version (phenolphthalein that changes color into pink) for about 30 seconds? how to do it?
