Title: Image within the text
Post by: Enthalpy on January 29, 2023, 09:17:05 PM
Hello nice people!

Is there a means to insert an image within the text of a message? Said image is on my computer, not on the Web, and up to now I append it to the message, so it appears at the end.

Thank you!

Yes and no.

You can use img tags to display the image in the text

but it still has to be uploaded to the server as an attachment.

Note that it doesn't have to be attached to the same post:

And is there a means to know the image's address while creating the new message?
Or must I create a message to get an image address, the modify the message to insert the image where desired?

Unfortunately, yes.

If the image was attached to another post you can get the address from there.
