Title: Anyone can help me find the IUPAC name of this picture?
Post by: flyingwhale on May 16, 2023, 06:29:03 AM
I have tried using website to convert structure to iupac names but I don't know how to draw it. I tried using chemdoodle since it was easier but the free trial has passed.
CC(=O)C
CCCCC=O
CCCCCCCCCC(=O)O
C1CCC=CC1
O=C1CCCCC1
OC1CCC1
CC(C)C(CCC)CC(C(C)C)CCC

1. Get the longest chain.
2. Count the C where you have the substituents
3. 3 kind of naming possible for the substituent
