Title: Dipole Movement
Post by: albert611 on October 19, 2004, 10:38:49 PM
Which type of molecules do not have dipole movement? Since nonpolar molecules do not have partial charges, is it true that there is no dipole movement? Thanks for your *delete me*

Only homo diatomic molecules wouldn't have a dipole moment, like H2.

More molecules does not have a dipole moment, eg three atomic carbon dioxide, four atomic acetylene and so on (all that possess internal centre of symmetry)
