Title: help with glucose..

hey, i have answered most of my h.w. questions, but am stuck on a few things about glucose (aka dextrose). first of all, what's the chemical properties of glucose? secondly, what examples of reactions can i use to explain glucose? any help would be greatly appreciated!  ;D

hey.. one last question.. i can't seem to find the actual chemical name for glucose.. is it Pentahydroxyhexanol? thanks again..

2,3,4,5,6-pentahydroxyhexanal for linear form
