How do you draw scetches of compounds on here. I did it in powerpoint but it won't transfer over. Am I doing something wrong?

Try copying it to paint and saving it, then just upload it.

For two-dimensional sketches I use IsisDraw, then through Windows buffer I transfer it to Word
and save it as html page - Word form then gif images (also it work for Word Equation editor .
Three-dimensional drawings I prepare using Mercury http://www.ccdc.cam.ac.uk/products/csd_system/mercury/
Marcury can save pictures in varoius formats.
Both: IsisDraw and Mercury are free.
