Title: series of reactions in the synthesis of benzaldehyde from an ester

Okay, so the question reads like this.  "Write equations for a series of reactions in the synthesis of benzaldehyde from an ester."

Okay, I have attempted to solve this, and have consulted with my peers, but there seems to be too many varying answers to this question.  For example, some have a nitrogen group involved while others do not.  I have searched around on this site and a few other internet sites and cannot seem to find anything conclusive.

Show an attempt at this question. What do you think the answer is? Nobody is going to put any effort into helping you unless you show tht you have put some effort in yourself.
