Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible to prepare heterocyclic products from CO2 alone?
By this i mean to create a mole of either 1, 3-dioxa-2, 4-cyclobutanedione or 1, 2-dioxa-3, 4-cyclobuatedione from simply 2 moles of CO2.
If this is possible, what would be the reaction conditions?
Thanks in advance for any advice
