Title: Novice question: UV absorption spectra
Post by: shoppinit on November 14, 2006, 01:42:15 PM
Hi all.

I hope you can help. I'm trying to differentiate copper stains on a cupronickel surface using UVA (black light blue) light.

I've been trying to look up the spectra absorption values, but I guess my understanding is just too limited to know what I'm looking for, or even if the answer's right in front of me!

Very basically, what is the difference in fluorescence between copper and cupronickel when illuminating with UVA?

ANy help will be much appreciated.

THanks. Ben.
