Title: who, how, and when structure of arginine was determined?
Post by: magicridge on November 19, 2004, 11:57:53 AM
Actually it is for my Bio chemistry research paper.  ;D
I am not really required to put this infromation in the paper, but I really do want to know how this structure was discovered. ???
Actually, I was surfing the Internet for more than 2 days but could not find the information about it.   :'( :'(
Does anyone know how and who discovered the structure of arginine?  ???

P.S. if you know some amazing feature of arginine, please let me know.
Thanks!!  ;)

Most aminoacids were isolated in the firts half of XIX century. See history of organic chemistry or Biochemistry. In university library  see also Beilstein Encyclopedia on Organic Chemistry (in German) or full Beilstein database.
