Hi,
Acupuncture has been linked to the release of endorphins in the body. Some research that I started with involved "gate control theory of pain", and "Neurohormonal theory". I think I understand the basic concepts behind the above mentioned, but can anyone tell me specifically what the scientific explanation behind the effectiveness of acupuncture is.
