Title: electronic configurationg

how do you write the electronic configuration, since the teacher did not explained it well today, using t2g and eg
i have to do it for these complexes. [Mn(CN)6]-4, and [Mn(acac)3] and so on. can anybody show me one so i can maybe go from there and try it my self ?

First, decide whether the complex is high spin or low spin.  Next, figure out the charge on the Mn.  Then, from the charge and the atomic number of Mn, you can figure out how many electron are in the d-orbitals of the Mn ion in the complex.  For a more detailed explanation, you can take a look at:
