I know some metal (hydr)oxides are amphoteric, but my teacher said the metals having amphoteric (hydr)oxides can react with SA / SB THEMSELVES and produce H2.
Uh, why?
For example, Pb and Sn don't seem to be strong enough to reduce H2 out, do they? ???
Thanks a lot!
