Title: why is dimethyl ketene colorful ?

I dont know why is dimethyl ketene colorful but methyl ketene colorless !  :-[
Can anyone help me to solve problem ! thanks u very much !

This can be explained on the ground of electron excitation energy
may be this ling helps a bit
