Post by: zai85 on August 06, 2007, 03:56:24 AM
Hello..
hope everybody can help me on this topic..

what is the definition of 'peptization' actually??

I'm trying to know whether 'peptization' will give any effect on 'aluminium acetate'?? Through my reading, i just found, people applied peptizing method on 'aluminium hyroxide'..

is it works, if i applied the same method to 'aluminium acetate'?? will there is any effect??
Thank you..

peptization is the process of converting a precipitate to a colloidal sol by dissolving it in dispersion medium along with a small amount of electrolyte.addition of suitable peptizing agent is required.
