Title: HCL-Methanol

has any one made a 1M HCl-methanol solution with Acetyl Chloride and methanol.  I need a good prep thanks

There isn't much of a prep.  You just add the AcCl to the MeOH.  The reaction is instantaneous.

Make sure that your MeOH is dry though.
