Title: complexometric titration calculation
Post by: kimi85 on August 29, 2007, 04:35:05 AM
In the EDTA titration of 50.00 ml of 0.1000M Fe(III) under proper conditions, what is the pFe at the equivalence point? Kf (Fe-EDTA)= 1.3 x 1025.

I really don't know how to solve this. I was thinking that maybe the data is insufficient. But the correct answer is 13.2

What is definition of equivalence point? What is definition of Kf? Write them both down. What is concentration of FeEDTA complex at the equivalence point? Just put it all together and solve for [Fe3+].
