Title: chemical equlibrium

hi, i would like to know how to determone if a reaction undergoes equilibrium reaction or total conversion. I can't remember much ever since i came out of the army.

Every reaction has some equilibrium, it can just be that it is shifted so far to the products side that we can assume it was complete. The only general and sure method will be to check amounts (concentrations) of reagents left.

A lot depends on the reaction type - some have their equilibrium constants listed in tables (like dissociation constants, complexation constants), some other can be calculated from thermodynamic data (also tabelarized).

i see thank you very much.. erm, may i know where can i find those equilibrium tables online? or they could only be found in books?

Some are online, in either free or paid databases, some in books, some are not known. It all depends on what you are looking for.
