Title: Rate of reaction
Post by: Sev on September 24, 2007, 09:10:22 PM
Hi, I was hoping someone could help with this problem.

2I-(aq) + S2O8--(aq) → I2 (aq) + 2SO4--(aq)
Does anyone know the order of the reaction w.r.t persulfate?

I am using the integrated rate equation method, and my plots (time and [S2O8],ln[S2O8],1/[S2O8]) are all fairly linear.

Could someone kindly help.
