Title: alkali_hydride_formation
Post by: raphi on October 25, 2007, 10:45:50 AM
Hello,
I have a question regarding the reaction:

Cs+H2->CsH+H

Could this reaction happen for a liquid cesium layer T=320 K
and 0.3 Pa H2 Pressure? On Problem is the high dissociation energy
of H2 (2.7 eV). Also CsH Formation is known for laser excited Cs(7p) but
this is not the case.

Thank You
Raphael
