Title: Question on HPLC

Hello, here's the question:

3 compounds were quantitated using a UV spectrometer coupled with HPLC system. Peak heights of 1.2, 0.7, and 0.9 absorbance units were obtained respectively for ethanoic acid, chloroethanoic acid and hexanol. Given that the relative detection responses for the 3 compounds were 0.75, 0.68 and 0.92, calculate the relative percentage of the 3 compounds present in the sample.

I understand that i would need to prove that i had done my own homework but I have really no idea, basically just stuck. How do I actually link the information together?

Try this example to get an idea of how to answer your question.

Mixture of  A and B gives 2 peaks of equal height/area if the detector responce of A is twice that of B how much A and B are in the orginal sample?
