Determine appoximate mass-to charge ratios for the following ions.
A) 80 - (Bromine 80 with a minus charge)
Br
B) 18 2- (Oxygen 18 with a -2 charge)
O
C) 40 +
Ar (Argon 40 with a plus charge)
Why are these values only approximate?(Hint: What are the masses of these ions?"
Then answers are a)8.3E-7 kg/C b) 9.3E-8 kg/C c) 4.1E-7
What is the process of solving this?

Determine appoximate mass-to charge ratios
You should assume masses of ions are the same as masses of atoms

umm im still not sure what to do. Can you do letter A for me?

Do you know the Faraday constant - it is a content of 1 mole of electrons. Since you have SI units kg/C
use 0.080 kg of Br / 96500 C
