Title: Ziegler-Natta catalyst
Post by: gtang1986 on December 02, 2007, 09:36:59 PM
Dear all,

I have a question. Do anyone of you know who first proposed the mechanism of TiCl4/MgCl2 ziegler-natta catalyst resulting in polymerisation? I want to know the reason why only Mg is the only element which drives the highest activation mechanism, as compared to any other element. The journal is ard the period of 1970s..I am still trying to find the journal but anyone pls help?Thanks..

Try to look on the step by step mechanism of TiCl4/MgCl2 ziegler-natta... it will help you understand it.
