I want to run HPLC with DMSO/H2O but I´m not sure if it will dissolve the plastic tubings and other plastic parts.
Dichloromethane does that and I guess this is similar. But if someone know please let me know how it is.

8) Diana, first thing you should do is find out the MOC's (materials of construction for your wetted surfaces). Most HPLC's, today, use PTFE or Kalrez. These are very safe with both DMSO and with DCM. However, if you have any wetted parts that are made of HDPE, they may slightly swell with DCM, and if you have any parts made of anything other than PTFE or Kalrez (or coated with PTFE) they are likely to suffer and fail.
Good luck!
