Title: Calculating volume
Post by: submar1ney on January 17, 2008, 03:31:53 PM
Given a sample of gas, (0.085g) collected in a 100cm^3 flask (sealed), calculate the volume the gas would occupy at 25 deg C and 760mmHg. The volume of gas previously calculated was 1.091 litres at 25 degC and 760mmHg with a density of 0.697 g litre^-1

How do i calculate the Volume mentioned above, then the pressure inside the flask?

Cheers

Do you know the ideal gas law?  First find n using the information in the second part of the question, then use that to find the volume.
